How to connect your domain to Hostcari hosting using nameservers or DNS records.
To connect your domain to your Hostcari hosting, you need to either change your nameservers or update the DNS records at your domain registrar.
Option A — Change nameservers (recommended)
- Log in to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.).
- Find the DNS or Nameserver settings for your domain.
- Replace the existing nameservers with the ones provided by Hostcari.
- Save the changes — propagation can take a few hours.
Option B — Update individual DNS records
- In your registrar's DNS settings, add or update the A record to point to your server IP.
- If you are using email, add the required MX records.
- For subdomains, add CNAME records as needed.
- Contact Hostcari support if you are unsure which records to add.
DNS propagation
After making changes, DNS propagation can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24 hours. During this time, your site may not load consistently on all networks.
