Setting up Carimail email
How to create your business email mailbox with Carimail and connect it to your phone or desktop.
Carimail is Hostcari's business email service. It gives you a professional email address using your domain name — for example, hello@yourbusiness.com.
Creating your mailbox
- Log in to your portal and open the Hosting section.
- Access the control panel and open Email Accounts.
- Click Create and enter the address you want (e.g. hello@yourdomain.com).
- Set a secure password.
- Note the incoming and outgoing mail server settings shown after creation.
Connecting to your phone or computer
- Open your email app (Mail, Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird, etc.).
- Add a new account and choose IMAP or POP3.
- Enter your full email address and the password you set.
- Use the IMAP and SMTP server settings shown in your portal.
- Send a test email to confirm everything is working.
Common issues
- Wrong password or outdated cached credentials — update the password on all devices.
- DNS not fully propagated — wait and retry after a few hours.
- Incorrect IMAP/SMTP settings — double-check the server details in your control panel.
